What is the difference between Business and Personal?
Business is a commercial subscription for brands, publishers, agencies, authors, musicians and businesses. Personal is for individuals commissioning artwork for personal, non-commercial use. They differ in price, licence, sketch turnaround and the number of revision rounds.
What does an active request mean?
An active request is the single illustration we are working on at a given time. Only one request is active at once; you can queue and reorder others, but we never work on more than one in progress.
What counts as a revision round?
A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback on the pencil sketch. Please gather your notes into a single message per round. Business includes up to five rounds; Personal up to two.
When is the final illustration delivered?
The final illustration is delivered on average within two business days of your final sketch approval. A complex request can be split into milestones.
Is AI used?
No generative AI is used in the sketch, composition or final artwork. No generative image-to-image is used, and nothing is generated and then traced. Digitization is limited to faithful technical steps.
How does commercial use work?
Business includes a standard commercial licence, limited to the scope defined in the terms or request card. There is no implied exclusivity or full copyright assignment; any exclusivity must be agreed in writing.

How is the queue handled?
You can add requests to your queue and reorder them at any time. We take the next one only when the current active request is delivered. There is no guaranteed monthly number of works.
What is the aesthetic direction?
The aesthetic direction is the visual approach — style, tone and references — agreed and approved before the first request begins. A substantial change of direction after approval can become a new request.
What are the Business sketch times?
On the Business plan the first pencil sketch is delivered on average in 2–4 business days. Times are averages for standard requests; delays in your feedback pause the flow.
What are the Personal sketch times?
On the Personal plan the first pencil sketch is delivered on average in 1–2 business days. Times are averages for standard requests; delays in your feedback pause the flow.
Why do revisions happen on the sketch?
Revisions happen on the sketch because that is where composition, pose and direction are decided. Adjusting them on the sketch is quick and avoids reworking a finished piece.
What happens after I approve the sketch?
Once you approve the sketch, the final illustration is made by hand. Substantial changes to composition, pose, subject or direction after approval become a new request or a separate agreement.
Which files are delivered?
You receive the agreed digital files — files obtained by digitizing the hand-made artwork. Formats are agreed for your intended use.
How does personal use work?
Personal is for personal, non-commercial use. You may publish on personal profiles when it is not tied to campaigns, sales or promotion. Commercial use requires a separate written upgrade.
What about exclusivity and copyright?
Exclusivity is never implied and must be agreed in writing. Copyright is not fully assigned by default; you receive the rights defined in your plan, transferred only to the extent legally transferable.
Do I get the physical original?
The physical original is not automatically included. Shipping or transfer of the original requires a separate written agreement.
Can I pause or cancel?
Billing is monthly. You can request a pause or a cancellation before your next renewal. Cancellation prevents future renewals; the period you have already paid for stays available until its scheduled expiry. Unused days are not automatically accumulated or transferred unless a specific written agreement says otherwise.
What is out of scope?
Out of scope items include full branding, UI/UX, full book layout, animation or video, 3D, exact photorealism, complex packaging, same-day rushes, exact imitation of a living artist, unlimited revisions and unlimited physical originals. Personal also excludes any commercial use.
